The boutique Rosewood Corniche Hotel in Jeddah has two 17-storey blocks, one is lit completely externally, and the other has only the sculptural structure at the top lit. Adding to the effect, the lighting designed by Sutton Vane Associates picks out architectural features visible from the ground, while at roof level the lighting picks out the poolside colonnade and complements the huge gas flares.

Sutton Vane Associates also designed lighting inside the hotel including illuminating the cylindrical atrium that runs the full height of one of the buildings.
