Sutton Vane Associates lit 25 individual buildings and several streets of neo-classical houses in the Grainger Town area of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne so successfully that it has since been commissioned to expand the scheme. It includes flexible lighting such as the red and blue that illuminates the lively High Friars Lane until midnight when it is automatically switched to traditional, wall mounted lanterns.
Among additional projects, Sutton Vane Associates was commissioned to resolve lighting problems associated with the Blue Carpet, Thomas Heatherwick’s work of public art.
