As part of the £30 million refurbishment of London’s famous Roundhouse in Camden, a wing containing offices and a studio theatre was added to its 1,660 capacity auditorium, which is housed in what was once a circular engine shed. Sutton Vane Associates designed the lighting for all the publicly accessible areas including two bars, a restaurant, foyers, reception areas, lavatories and all public circulation spaces in addition to the building’s offices and the main performance space.

The Grade II-listed building, which has played host to artists from Jimi Hendrix and the Doors through to Kasabian and the Chemical Brothers is the venue for major events such as the annual BBC Electric Proms.
