Sutton Vane Associates worked with the artists Maggie Ellenby, Susan Collins, Mark Lewis, Tim Head and David Ward to support them in the creation of their light artworks in Queen Street in the City of London. The installations took place over two years and each lasted a month.
The artwork that provided the greatest technical challenge was that of Susan Collins which called for colour changing light in working drains. In addition to acquiring all the appropriate permissions, Sutton Vane Associates also had to find a safe way of powering the lights in the drains.
