The Museums + Heritage Show is taking place on 17 and 18 May 2017 in the West Hall at Olympia, London. The event is free to attend (do make sure you register) and offers "two jam-packed days featuring more than 50 free talks with new ideas and opportunities and to explore new ways of working".

Sutton Vane Associates director Mark will be talking about lighting design in the context of exhibitions at the Museums and Heritage Show. He will be joined by Geoffrey Beare, curator at the William Heath Robinson Museum, and Leigh Cain, director at Leigh Cain Creative Ltd.
Mark will expose secrets of successfully lighting museums. Taking into account the stories of the exhibits, the constraints of the architecture and the dictates of LUX whilst delivering a welcome visitor experience. Inventive lighting celebrates the master of eccentric engineering at the William Heath Robinson Museum and tells the story of the Battle of Hastings from Dawn until Dusk.
