Mark Sutton Vane IALD established Sutton Vane Associates in 1995. Mark had studied architecture and then spent many years designing laser shows. He then worked in architectural lighting design before establishing his own practice. As well as guiding the practice, Mark has reviewed lighting research papers, judged many competitions and regularly gives lectures and talks on lighting. He has written many articles on lighting for architectural and lighting publications.

Michael Grubb , Director, has been with Sutton Vane Associates since 1998, he has a background in product design. At Sutton Vane Associates he has been responsible for designing many of the largest and the most important award winning schemes.

The practice has a number of Lighting Designers as well as a Light Artist and Administrative Staff
