An LED lighting scheme is helping to revitalise the Lea Navigation, a continuous riverside route stretching from the River Thames to Hertford. Sutton Vane Associates has designed lighting for the new floating towpath located under the A11 with linear LED modules integrated discreetly into the new structure to provide reflected light on to the tunnel walls. Additional LED modules incorporated in the balustrade structure light the walkway, to create a safe, inviting environment. The lighting scheme is also extremely efficient, consuming only 651 Watts, which works out at 1.1 Watts/m2.
