Kate Ramsbottom worked as a lighting designer in her native New Zealand where she worked on a range of energy-efficient office, commercial, education and industrial lighting projects and was the secretary of the Illumination Engineering Society. She studied design in there and in Australia before taking the two-year IES-certified Post Graduate Certificate in Science and Technology – Lighting. She is based in London and her current projects include daylight studies for the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo. |
