Robert Jones, senior designer |
| Robert Jones studied industrial product design at Brunel University and worked in electronics before joining Sutton Vane Associates in 2007. He continued to apply this branch of knowledge in areas such as DMX-controlled lighting but was attracted to lighting design due to its ‘combination of creativity and the technical, from understanding how the eye works and the nature of colour through to programming.’ He has worked on town centre lighting in Bolton, Burnley and Letchworth Garden City; exterior lighting projects such as Hull Footbridge, Egremont Castle and the Light Bar in London, and interiors ranging from the Mercers’ Hall in the City of London to private palaces in the Middle East. |
