Several streets and a public space which make up the heart of Warrington were lit with comfortable, white glare free lighting. Trees, bushes and seating were emphasised. The sculptural columns have glowing glass capitals.

The project won the British Council of Shopping Centres award 2002, a Civic Trust commendation, an LGN award, an RTPI award and an Urban Renaissance award from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister
